My WG has just snapped the steering tie rod, luckily I was just coming off the drive, so not too scary, but was stuck halfway on the drive and half on the road at an awkward angle !
After trying a few different things, managed to get it back on the drive by lifting the front on a trolley jack and turning the wheels to point where I wanted, drop it down and then do it again as needed. Got the RAC coming tomorrow to take it to the mechanics....
Anyway, obviously I need to replace it, is there such a thing as a HD version ?
And, if there is, would I need to replace both ?
