Trepador comps
« on: October 08, 2015, 07:59:52 PM »

So i'm looking for some 40" tyres that fit on 17" wheels, I really like the trepador comps but have been told they last less than 1000 miles if used on the road. Anybody got any experience with these? Cheers, Ian

Maxxis are used in competition in the uk and are available in a 40" they seem to last on rocks.
But the big lugs get chunked if ragged on the rocks.

Offroad Armoury have 40's that look the biz, they seem to work on his truck in King of the Valleys.

Me? Super Swampers Iroks .....seen to work in all terrains and don't lose chunks on the rocks

All these will wear badly if used on the road.......

At £500 a corner no guesses why these type of rigs get trailered?
