Kirton is about an hour away from me - so if there's space for a slightly less impressive Jeep than most of yours, consider me there.

I will need someone to tow me down the road for the AA :003:

Listening to the views expressed, I've had long discussions with both PLI provider and other J33P committee members about Insurance requirement.  Upshot being, hopefully early next week I will be in a position to let you know if non-insured vehicles will be permitted at J33P events.  MOTs are definitely required.  However, I am happy to investigate accepting an engineers report from a reputable company in instead.  As Georgen pointed out, there are plenty of companies who do them, however not sure if they cover Jeeps like Wildwoods with hydro steer.  The current ethos behind J33P events  is they are non-competitive, folks can come along and just drive a site.  In the past we've looked at MSA, myself and others have had long discussions with MSA rep, however as all MSA events have to be competitive in nature, punch hunt, trial, safari, point to point (you have to publish results) plus it put more load on the event organisers, we decided to pass.  We have very limited resources to play with.

I have three vehicles with insurance and road tax, legal to drive here - I give up, this is why the 75 is so appealing to me, I really should sell the buggy and the mafia - time to move on.

PLI is now sorted and I can confirm that non-insured vehicles will be permitted at J33P events. Please note, the club may apply specific rules to non-insured vehicles to make sure they are not-driven in areas accessible by the public.

I read that Cheapfest will be on 12th and 13th Sept this year but I didn't see where.  :017:

Would that be at same place as last year?

I only found out this morning that J33P changed the date from 17/18 April to 11/12 April and I can't attend as I will be working nights.
