Carb clean / repairers our there?
« on: February 02, 2018, 06:16:38 PM »

Has anyone used a carb specialist before?

I’ve seen a few adverts on google and heard some bollocks takes about where to have carbs looked at and wondered if anyone had used a company they would recommend?

I have a Holley 8007 399cfm and a Holley 1850-2 600cfm unit with no history on either so thought I would get them checked out first as be a pain of trying to start new engine to find the carb was useless

Cheers

Dont know about Holley carbs but I recently had a 2nd weber DGAS 38 for my Capri that I bought as a spare, refurbished by this chap http://www.weber-carbs.co.uk/about.html

I was very pleased with the condition of the carb, cant comment on its functionality as its now stored in my spares stash but drop this guy a message, he might be able to point you at someone who specialises in your carb
