My first post so please don't roast me if it's old hat.
Just had to replace my transmission PCB (no surprise) on my 2.7 diesel.
Bought ebay item 151780679006 and with the free Windows software download from

http://jeepswj.com/download/803/

I was able to read and clear all engine and gearbox codes which then allowed the transmission to work fully again.

Hope this might help any other newbies like me.
