LPG consumption

Guys, some advice please, I have sort of acquired my parents 4.0 97 GC, it has had a multipoint LPG conversion and gentle bimbling is giving about 15mpg, throttle response isn't as crisp on lpg either, I'm wondering whether it is set up right ( I has a LPG Monaro a few years back and you really couldn't tell whether it was running on LPG or petrol).
Does the fuel consumption sound right, I'm sure if I wasn't being economical I could easily have it down to single figures?

Disconect it Remove it chuck it over the hedge then burn it

17-18mpg is probably more normal. It should run and accelerate fine though, not real difference in feel to running on petrol, maybe just a bit less grunt but still smooth.

Sounds like ours, which I think needs the fuel mapping adjusted. I get some stumbling when I come to a stop, and it hesitates a bit when I get on the gas, then switches to petrol at full throttle.
I'm getting between 13-17mpg.

I've done some research and reckon it needs a service, apparently the filters can get clagged up, not sure if that will improve mpg, but it might Rev a bit better

Get it serviced if it hasn't been done recently, the LPG filters really clog up

Just to throw my two penn'orth in, originally i was getting about 18mpg on gas and after having some welding done i had to renew the LPG control system, it has jumped to 24mpg - last fill up took 65L/14 gallons and it did 346 miles on that tankful. It only ever starts and runs for a few seconds on petrol so it's not a case of 50 of those miles were on petrol.
